Starting on January 26, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will require passengers flying into the United States to have a negative COVID-19 test prior to travel. This applies even if the passenger's final destination is another country, but they are on a connecting flight that enters the United States first.

International travelers and US citizens will need to have a COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to their departure from Curacao and present documentation of their test results (written or electronic copy). The test required is the nasal swab viral antigen test or nucleic acid amplification test. Children aged two and older must also be tested.

To help you comply with this new travel mandate and for your convenience, The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort has arranged for Lab de Med Laboratories to take samples at the resort for PCR and Viral Antigen testing at their facility. Appointments must be scheduled with at least 1 day in advance, and results will be delivered within 24 hours. This service will begin on January 20, 2021.

Curacao is now open to visitors from all over the world, and The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort remains committed to creating a safe and clean environment for our members and guests to enjoy.
